Dr. Priya M Roy, MD

Worst doctor I have ever seen. First visit she took away all hope. It was like she went right down the list of things not to say to an IBS patient. I had to go to my primary care doctor to restore my frame of mind. My primary care doctor recommended that I do not go back and see Dr. Roy again. I figured I would give her a second chance. Second visit went better than the first. We decided to change the way I was taking two medications. A few days into the change I started to get a burning sensation in my GI track that wouldn\\\'t go away. This is where the absolutely unacceptable behavior comes in. After being ignored for a week, Dr. Roy informs me that she is out of ideas and that it is my primary care physicians problem to deal with. If my problems persist then I should go to the Cleveland Clinic. So to sum things up, Dr. Roy, a GI specialist couldn\\\'t solve an easy GI track problem, recommended that I go somewhere that I didn\\\'t need to for a problem she created. She showed no signs of care for my personal well being, or her pride is simply more important than my health. She ran at the first sign of trouble, she does not deserve to be called a specialist. I called her out on this and I was dropped as a patient. No loss on my end, just a warning to all of you out there considering Dr. Roy or the Ohio Gastro Group.
